What does the free trial include?

When you sign up for Python Morsels, you'll get 3 free exercise credits and no payment details are required.

Each credit lets you claim one exercise of your choice from the Exercise Library. Once you claim an exercise, you'll always have access to that exercise, its tests, and its solution walk-through, even after your credits are gone.

Trial credits never expire, so you can use them at whatever pace suits you.

The trial doesn't include access to premium screencasts and articles. Those come with the paid plans (see the pricing page).

Will I be billed during my trial?

No. The trial doesn't ask for a card or any other payment details, so there's nothing to bill. You'll only ever be billed if you decide to subscribe to a paid plan.

I haven't received an invoice or receipt. How can I get one?

Invoices are emailed automatically after each payment.

If you're in trial mode, you haven't paid anything, so there's no invoice. If you've subscribed to a paid plan and can't find an invoice email (the subject line is "Python Morsels invoice"), see Payments and Invoices or email help@pythonmorsels.com.

Will my trial end as soon as I subscribe?

Subscribing to a paid plan ends your trial in the sense that billing begins and your plan's access kicks in.

Any unused trial credits stay in your account. Exercise credits never expire, and on the All Access plan you won't need them (you can claim any exercise without spending credits).

How can I cancel my trial early?

There's nothing to cancel! Since the trial doesn't collect payment details, you will never be billed unless you choose to subscribe to a paid plan.

If you'd like to stop receiving exercise recommendation emails, set your email frequency to "Never" on your Preferences page. You can also unsubscribe from announcement emails on that same page.

Your account and any unused exercise credits will still be here if you decide to come back later. If you'd rather delete your account entirely, see Deleting your account.
